Nenad Stanisic was born on December 12, 1979 in Kragujevac, where he finished elementary school and Gymnasium. He graduated at the Faculty of Economics - University of Kragujevac with a GPA of 9.15. He graduated at the master's course in International Economics at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade in the 2006 with an average score of 10, defending his master's thesis entitled "The effects and the importance of trade liberalization in the modern world economy". He defended PhD thesis entitled "The challenges of international monetary integration," in 2010 at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade.
Nenad Stanisic has been employed at the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac since 2003. He became assistant professor in the field of General economics and economic development in 2010. He teaches the subjects International economics at the undergraduate level, the International Economic Integration in the master program and the International Trade in doctoral studies.
The main areas of interest are: international economics, regional and international economic integration.
From 2006 to 2010 he was a researcher on the project of the Ministry of Science of the Republic Serbia "Investigation of the national innovation capacity as a factor for establishing the Serbian economy and society based on knowledge and innovation system that is compatible with the European Union (149021)”. Since 2011 he is a researcher on the project "Research and development of platform for scientific decision support and management of scientific and technological development of Serbia" (III47005), funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia. He participate in the international project "The Emergence of Southern Multinationals and their Impact on Europe (IS0905)”, funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology - COST).
During the work on the university, he was the secretary of the Department of Economics and Economic Development, vice dean for Research (2011-2012), Vice-Dean for International Cooperation (2012-2013) and is currently the vice dean for science and international cooperation.
